January 9, 2025 - Black Creek Integrated Systems Corp. has been awarded a new project to significantly expand video storage capacity at the Knox County Roger D. Wilson Detention Center—also known as the Penal Farm—in Knoxville, TN. The 964-bed medium-security facility is operated by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, and this project continues a long-standing partnership that began in 1994 when the facility was first constructed. Knox County also uses Black Creek’s integrated security control system at the Downtown Jail/Intake Center.

The upgrade is designed to support a phased replacement of existing analog cameras with new minimum 1080p IP-resolution cameras, without compromising video quality or retention. The project ensures Knox County’s surveillance capabilities are modern, scalable, and aligned with current public safety technology standards.
